 The film story line of khufiya is adaptation from the literary work of “Escape to nowhere” written by Amar Bhushan. It’s based on real story of Indian intelligence agent from RAW, who disappeared in a tight surveillance with the help of American support.  The director and writer Vishal Bharadwaj and co-writer Rohan Narula have tried their best to bring the story live on the screen. The film is launched on Netflix amid the Canada and India’s controversy over RAW agents and diplomats working in Canada. Khufiya is a Urdu word meaning concealed or camouflaged and is portrayed by its characters throughout the film. The stat cast like tabu , Ali Fazal, Wamiqa gabbi, Vidyarthi a meri , Navnindra Behl have tried their best to do justice with film. The lyrics written by Gulzar and the bgm of whistling effect and sarangi conjures a lyrical heft to the thriller. The films of Akshay kumar coming every month in cinema halls can hardly create hype for a talented star like him.   Raniganz is caricature of true event that took place in 1989 , a coal mine at the Mahavir colliery in Raniganj, West Bengal was flooded and 71 miners were trapped and rescue mission was carried out by Senior Engineer Jaswant Gill with wit and exemplary valour, along with his bunch of valiant experts rescued 65 miners. one by one through the innovative capsule. Akshay kumar shines here and has played his role with so much intricacies , his humble and self assured persona is very impressive just like he did in film airlift . Kumud mishra has also done his job effectively. Parineeta Chopra has a very short appearance and fails to make any impact. Ravi Kishan’s dialogue is too theatrical to make an impression. The deliberation on the outline of movie insinuated by many trailer and teaser reviewers gave  the movie so much impetus and exhorted people to book the seats in theatre that the tickets were fully sold out before it’s release . What a strategy!  The monologues of Sarukh khan is so articulate , impressive and memorable . He emphasises people to bring rigour in democracy with the strength of index finger as to question your leaders about what good things they will bring to society and will they curb the corruption penetrated on every layer of bureaucracy.
